- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ziti pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef until cooked through (6-8 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Stir marinara sauce, garlic powder, and herbs into the meat; simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta with half the mozzarella and some Parmesan.
- Layer half the pasta, half the meat sauce, and all of the cheese mixture in a baking dish. Repeat layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
